He suggested things could "end really badly" for Ten Hag. "It was hard to watch, hard to take," Yorke told Prime Casino. "You know you're going to win and lose in football - and not very often would we lose at Old Trafford - but the problem is the manner of the defeat.
"And as I said, it's an uncoached team. The players looked dead today, they looked flat and they looked like they were thinking 'I don't know what to do'. There's no enthusiasm for the game of football and that can only come from the training pitch. "When he had that 6-1 loss against Tottenham and you can see my face on TV, I couldn't hide my feelings. It doesn't matter if you work for Sky and you have to be neutral when your club is not performing well. It's tough, it's tough. People keep talking about Ten Hag being sacked. It feels like he has the support from Ineos.
"When we talked at half-time about who was the home team, Tottenham were so comfortable. They didn't do nothing. They didn't get in behind. Tottenham's two centre halves weren't troubled. It looked like Tottenham were the home time, United fans are going to go home disappointed and rightly so as well."
