Many residents said they were 'tired of politics' with one person adding, 'what's the point? Nothing ever changes.'
Frustrated with the lack of change they have seen in their local area, many feel as though they have been 'promised the world' and yet have seen no difference.

Instead of promising you the world and then giving you nothing."
Amongst many voters in the constituency there was hostility towards parliament in general. John, 76, said: "After 14 years of Tory rule this country is a mess. John continued to criticise Rishi Sunak by saying: "A very rich man who doesn't understand what is going on with the country, he's clueless and all he wants is to stay in power."
