The teenage suspect arrested by police following a mass stabbing at a Taylor Swift dance party was born in Cardiff before moving to West Lancashire. In the devastating attack at The Hart Space - a pregnancy centre in Southport - two children were killed and nine more were injured. Six of those children are in a critical condition while two adults - who bravely ran to their protection - are also in hospital with their injuries .
Speaking at a press conference last night, Chief Constable Serena Kennedy, from Merseyside Police said: 'My officers were called to reports of a stabbing at 11.47am at an address in Southport. When they arrived they were shocked to find that multiple people, many of whom were children, had been subjected to a ferocious attack and had suffered serious injuries .
