The update is being rolled out on devices from today
WhatsApp have implemented a major change giving users the ability to use the messaging platform across more than one smartphone.
Confirming the changes in a blog post, the people at WhatsApp said: ""A feature highly requested by users, now you can link your phone as one of up to four additional devices". "Each linked phone connects to WhatsApp independently, ensuring that your personal messages, media, and calls are end-to-end encrypted, and if your primary device is inactive for a long period, we automatically log you out of all companion devices," the company added.
There is currently no word of what areas will see the change but UK users will see the change on their devices shortly.
