Actor Mamie Laverock has been on life support after a five-story fall, but she has since opened her eyes, her family says. The “When Calls the Heart” actor’s mom, actor Nicole Rockmann, told the Los Angeles Times that Laverock is “doing well” and hoping for a “turnaround” on her health. “Mamie just opened her eyes,” Rockmann said. “Let’s just hope this is the turnaround and she’s going to get through this now. I couldn’t be happier that people reached out and cared. The story will be told.
Paul’s for Laverock’s fall saying it was not “intended” and not a suicide attempt. A spokesperson for Providence Health Care, which operates St. Paul’s Hospital, confirmed to TODAY.com that “an incident occurred” at the hospital. However they added, “Providence Health Care cannot comment on this or any patient matters due to privacy and confidentiality policies.
