Liverpool and Everton will discover their opponents in the third round of the Carabao Cup
The Carabao Cup has continued this week and more teams will be added to the competition from the next round. Everton defeated Doncaster Rovers 3-0 on Tuesday night to earn their first win of the 2024/25 season. Second half goals from Dwight McNeil, Iliman Ndiaye and Beto handed Sean Dyche's men a ticket to the next round of the competition. The next stage sees the introduction of Premier League clubs involved in European competitions.
