The Prince and Princess of Wales' and their three young children will not be joining the rest of the Royal Family at the traditional Easter Sunday Matins Service at St George's Chapel, Windsor.Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis broke up from school for the Easter holidays on Friday, 22 March - the same day that Kate bravely revealed she had been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
The current house is described as being of a late-Georgian design but it could have been built earlier around a pre-existing smaller house. King Edward VII bought Anmer Hall in 1898 from Ernest Terah Hooley. It had originally been the seat of the Coldham Family from 1705. Nicholas van Cutsem was chosen to be a godfather to Prince Louis and William took on the role at Prince George's christening. In January 2013, the Queen gave Anmer Hall to the couple as a wedding present.
