Should be looking to join in the celebrations for Europe's most extravagant song competition this weekend then we've pulled together a list of the best places to go.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 final is fast approaching this weekend, and although Glasgow just missed out as hosts last year, there is still a lot of love in the city for a Eurovision themed party.

The UK has had few good results in recent years; however, it came second in 2022 with Sam Ryder’s ‘Space Man’, resulting in Liverpool hosting the event in 2023. Fans looking to properly let their hair down can go for a livelier option, with many of Glasgow’s pubs and clubs looking to party in style. Club Tropicana and Venga, Renfield Street Speaking of getting in the mood, retro nightclub Club Tropicana and Venga are hosting an “ABBA Night” on Saturday to celebrate 50 years since the Swedish group won the contest in 1974. They will be playing all the groups most loved hits well into the night.

Fans are being encouraged to don their favourite fancy dress of acts gone by. It’s surround sound cinema will complement the soft couches and armchairs. Tickets are £28 and include a free cocktail.
