If you want to get out and about to watch the Coronation, there are plenty of public screenings planned
There will be a few options for where you can watch the coronation of King Charles III in Manchester and Greater Manchester, from large gatherings in town to local community screenings of the royal event.The city’s biggest communal gathering to watch the Coronation will take place in Piccadilly Gardens, which has been decked out to beam in all the pageantry from Westminster Abbey on Saturday .
Then the following day, the Gardens will be transformed into a picnic space for the Coronation Big Lunch, with tables, benches, more food traders, and then the Coronation Concert in the evening being streamed from London onto the big screens.If you can’t make it to Westminster Abbey , then surely Manchester Cathedral is a fine substitute. Watch the crowning of King Charles III in this historic place of worship, from the Coronation ceremony itself through to the new King’s Procession.
