For the purposes of this exercise — which is only a big board and not a mock draft, since there is no concept of a 2024 draft order — we’ll assume that everyone who can declare will and apply an asterisk to any player who can return for another season. However, given the likelihood that several stars will return to college, this preliminary list will stretch to 24 so that it can eventually whittle down to 12.
This is a bit speculative since we haven’t seen Bueckers complete a full season in two years. However, the Bueckers who dominated during her freshman year, the one who was the MVP at the U-19 World Cup and who has risen to the occasion multiple times in the NCAA Tournament already is still an exciting prospect. If she can stay healthy, Bueckers should still be a formidable offensive force at the next level.Brink is the archetype of a modern big.
