From Bonehead to Whitey - there's a host of musicians that fans are hoping will join the Oasis reunion
Oasis mania has well and truly swept the nation as if we’re back in the 90s once again, as the Gallagher brothers announced plans to reunite for a tour next year.
Whilst the brothers are always at the front and centre of the Britpop legends, Oasis has always included other members - both on tour and on record. No details on who will be joining the Gallagher’s on tour has been announced yet, but there are certainly some people that fans will be keen to see take to the stage during the reunion shows.
Since then, he has released two solo albums, and, last year, joined forces with Shaun Ryder, Zak Starkey and Bez to create supergroup Mantra of the Cosmos - who performed at Glastonbury. Part of the group from 1995 to 2004, Whitey played a significant role in the band and contributed to four of their studio albums, as well as their famous Knebworth live album. At the time of his departure, he was the longest-serving band member apart from the brothers.
Despite leaving the band, Bonehead has continued to work with Liam in the years since. He temporarily joined Beady Eye in 2013 and also performed on his solo album As You Were. In 2017, it was confirmed that Gem had become a permanent member of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
