The race for the top gong will be a battle between Tony Armstrong, Larry Emdur and Robert Irwin.
This time last year, I wrote a story with the headline: “Who will win the Gold Logie? And why will it be Hamish Blake again?” As it turned out, the piece was a misfire. Blake didn’t win his third Gold Logie. Instead, Sonia Kruger took out the top gong.
All of which leads me to declare this year’s Gold Logie race will be a three-way battle between ABC’s Tony Armstrong, the “nicest man on TV”
