West Yorkshire Police has released a statement
The Air Ambulance helicopter has been flying over a town near Leeds on Sunday - and West Yorkshire Police has revealed why.
The chopper had flown out for a special event to raise money for the Air Ambulance, landing at Goosefield Rise field in Garforth as part of the fundraiser on Sunday, September 1. The event was hosted by the Gaping Goose pub, and visitors had a chance to explore inside a police van as part of the activities.Posting about the day. West Yorkshire Police - Leeds East wrote on Facebook:" Just want to say a massive thanks to Jo and her team at the Gaping Goose in Garforth for having us today.
"They are having a charity day today to support the Yorkshire Air ambulance. The Helicopter has actually been and landed on Goosefield Rise field.
