The famed aircraft normally perform on two occasions at the annual Wales Airshow
The Red Arrows performing a fly-past during the UK’s national commemorative event for the 80th anniversary of D-Day The world-renowned RAF team have become a highlight of the annual event, which unfolds in the skies above Swansea Bay on 6 and 7 July.are the aerobatic display team of the RAF, and often the most popular part of national airshows which become more frequent during the summer, as the skies get clearer and the weather becomes warmer.
During a tour of the Middle East and Asia-Pacific that year, they performed for a billion people across 17 countries over nine weeks.The Wales Airshow became an annual event in 2016, after previously taking place every other year. Thousands of people take to the Welsh city every year to catch a glimpse of the best the RAF has to offer, including the Eurofighter Typhoons planes and the Gazelle Squadron helicopters.
The Red Arrows will still appear in the Welsh sky on Sunday as they head to Silverstone, for those who want to catch a glimpse.
