Why is it that no matter how often Apple upsets us, we consumers just can’t get enough? 💬 via ipaperviews
My first bite of the “Apple” came in the early 2000s when as a teenager, I received the original iPod for Christmas after months of begging and pleading with my parents. To this day, it is still the most expensive gift they’ve ever bought me It was undoubtedly a step up from the janky CD player I lugged to school every day. For the first time, I could take the entirety of my music collection on the bus without drawing the attention of backseat bullies.
Ask anyone about Apple tech, and they’ll tell you how simple it is to set up and how seamless it is to use. “It just works” was the famous phrase that Apple co-founder and former CEO Steve Jobs used to repeat every time he introduced the world to a new product or service.
