Cheryl Burke broke down why 'Dancing With the Stars' inspired so many relationships between pro dancers and their celebrity partners
Cheryl Burke has some advice for celebrities looking to join Dancing With the Stars: don't sign up if you’re in a relationship.
The professional dancer pointed out that contestants and their dance partners spend a lot of time together rehearsing their performances. As a result, there is room for couples to develop either extreme love or extreme dislike for each other. Burke clarified that she wouldn't talk anyone out of joining DWTS, adding, 'Be single if you do Dancing With the Stars. That's all I'm saying.'
Burke continued: 'But the less obvious reason is that I'm realizing I have a tendency to judge my own feelings and if I'm with other people, that magnifies. I get so focused on other people's perception of how I'm dealing with my emotions — which then in turn leads me to question if I am feeling things the 'right way.''“I need to believe and love myself enough to really know that I deserve a good guy,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in May 2022.
