This week, I wanted to do something a little different and show you why Festival Gardens is my favourite spot in the city. To do that, I thought the best way would be to show you some photos that explain exactly why.
Every week I write a story about new experiences I've had, loved and enjoyed in Liverpool since I moved to the city in April. From meeting strangers at girls only groups that have taken social media by storm, to visiting beauty spots, going shopping and eating in the tastiest of restaurants , I've done quite a lot in the short six months I've been here. Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE a sunset, sunrise and the sky in general.
See I come from a small-ish town with countryside surrounding it, as much as I love being in the city I also love being in greenery so to me, being able to watch the bustling city lights twinkle in the background is everything. And, to make it even more appealing that sunrise over the Mersey is something on another level. The skies light up in a shade of orange I don’t think I’ve ever seen before, and when the clouds turn pink it’s just incredible.
