Mark Wolf wants you to know that there is a major difference between his built-for-rent industry and what he calls “buy for rent.” The local developer draws a distinction between “built for rent” — his industry — and “buy for rent” fueled by Wall Street investors. Not all houses rented to long-term tenants are created the same.

You get a dog park. You get a place to work out. You get a pool. It’s a pretty standard apartment operational model, but our widget is different — it’s a house.
