The fight is not one of disrespecting religion, it is one of asserting the rights of a group of people to ensure that everybody is treated equally in the eyes of the law. nly in December 2019 that the government ended gender segregation in restaurants and in August the same year, the ban was lifted on women holding passports and traveling abroad without the consent of a male guardian. Meanwhile, women were only granted permission to apply for driving licences in 2018.
