It is understood that the spouses of the Queen's grandchildren were not in attendance at the vigil to allow the cousins to mourn as a family.
The Queens beloved grandchildren paid tribute to the Monarch in Westminster Hall tonight where she is lying-in-state.
Prince William can be seen standing at the head of the coffin with Prince Harry at the foot, both dressed in their military uniforms at the "King's request". Her Majesty's remaining eight grandchildren - Zara Tindall, Peter Philips, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn - are standing around the middle of the coffin.
Watching the vigil included other members of the royal family including the Queen Consort, Countess of Wessex, four of the Queen’s grandchildren and their spouses – Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips – and members of the wider royal family.
