For Martin Del Rosario and Liezel Lopez, it's good being bad.Martin plays Prince Zardoz, the Voltes team’s archenemy who leads the invasion of Earth. Liezel meanwhile plays Zandra, Zardoz’s loyal aide who’s got some sinister plans for him to fight the Voltes V. They also share a love story.
Liezel also noted the forbidden love between Zandra and Zardoz, and how it is not how romance is usually portrayed because it’s hard to see their intentions. Martin likewise enjoys playing the antagonist because he can get creative with the role, given that the character has layers.
