The Wanted star Max George was once engaged to Michelle Keegan, but their romance came crashing down just weeks before their £250,000 wedding.
Max George, of The Wanted fame, is currently in a relationship with former EastEnders actress Maisie Smith, who is 13 years his junior. The duo first crossed paths on Strictly in 2020 and initially became friends.
Tests revealed he has some heart issues and might require surgery, which could mean spending Christmas in hospital. This could also affect the couple's scheduled performance as Parson Nathaniel and wife Beth in Jeff Wayne's The War of The Worlds 'The Spirit of Man' arena tour in 2025, where they portray a married couple.
Their love story quickly escalated with Max proposing in June 2011 after just about half a year. Sadly, by January 2012, plans for their lavish £250,000 wedding were shelved. Nonetheless, Max brushed off the cheating allegations, stating that by the time the photo was taken, he and Michelle had already broken up, making him very much single at the kiss incident. He also frankly discussed how his 'serious drinking problem' was a major wrench in their relationship, confessing to having limited recollection of the period in question.
