Manchester United news as Marcus Rashford left embarrassed by Ethan Wheatley during Europa League training
Erik ten Hag's Manchester United squad were in high spirits during their training session as they prepared for Thursday's upcoming Europa League match against Fenerbahce. Cameras caught a fantastic moment when young player Ethan Wheatley embarrassed fellow forward Marcus Rashford during a drill.
The 18-year-old had a standout moment when he left Rashford red-faced during an intense rondo, nutmegging the United No.10 to a chorus of cheers. Wheatley was part of the outer circle with a mix of academy and senior players, including Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund.
However, it was all good fun, as the 26-year-old joined his teammates in laughter over the incident that will undoubtedly be a topic of dressing room banter for some time, reports the Express. This season, Rashford has scored four goals and provided three assists. His manager praised the display, saying, "I really enjoyed today how he played. You see what he is capable of.
