Peter Warren Automotive operates 22 dealership locations in Queensland, NSW and Victoria across 27 different vehicle types. It sells EV models under the Renault, Kia, Volvo, Audi, Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz brands, but the core of its sales still come from petrol and diesel models.
A $5.9 million profit before tax contribution from the Penfold Motor Group in Melbourne, which it took ownership of in December 2021 after a $104 million acquisition, helped push profits along in a market where buyersPeter Warren Auto shares gained 2 per cent in early trade on the ASX to $2.80, and are belowwhen the company listed on the exchange in early 2021 after raising $260 million in a public float. The stock reached $3.80 in May 2021.
