A fresh breeding for the birds of prey has officially started and a 24-hour live-stream of the nests have captured the first egg of the season.Peregrine falcons have started nesting atop a skyscraper in Melbourne's famous Collins Street.
Cameras monitoring the rare nesting birds on the building first became a social media hit during the COVID-10 pandemic. Breeding season usually kicks off in August and it's hoped this year the eggs will be able to hatch, unlike in 2023.Thousands of people watch this live stream of the rare birds.
