Wigan Warriors have revealed they will not stand in Shaun Edwards’ way if he wishes to take up another coaching opportunity instead of his proposed return to the Super League champions
in 2020, with their owner, Ian Lenagan, confirming Edwards’ claims last weekend that there is only an “oral agreement” in place between the parties as opposed to a signed contract.
