Two people, including a four-year-old boy, have died following the house fire in Wigan A four-year-old boy has died in hospital two days after a fire ripped through a home in Wigan. Police and the fire service rushed to the home on Warrington Road at around 2.30am on Sunday, April 14. A 45-year-old man died from his injuries on the day, and four other people were taken to hospital. Police have now confirmed that a young boy, aged four, died in hospital on Tuesday morning.
