Wigan Pride is here this weekend - and stars from RuPaul's Drag Race UK are joining in on the fun!
The streets of Wigan will be a lot more colourful this weekend as Wigan Pride returns with a jam-packed day of festivities and fun.
Over on the Unity Stage in the town centre from 11.50am, performer Claire Pilling and drag queen icon Misty Chance will host an afternoon of entertainment. The Believe Stage in Believe square, which is managed by Council-led youth group BYOU, will feature acoustic sets from local acts and family-friendly entertainment between 12-5pm. There will also be a Pride photography exhibition.
Lead Member for Equalities, Councillor Paula Wakefield, said: “I’m so proud that we’ve been a supporter of Wigan Pride since day one.
