Prince William and Kate Middleton have been 'preparing' for their future roles on the throne sooner than anyone expected as William takes on more duties, it has been claimed
A Royal biographer has reported that Prince William and Kate Middleton are gearing up for an earlier-than-anticipated rise to the throne, as King Charles grapples with ongoing health issues. King Charles was diagnosed with cancer in February this year, and promptly began treatment. In the wake of his diagnosis, he reduced his public appearances but remained active behind the scenes, managing paperwork, holding private meetings, and maintaining his weekly sessions with the Prime Minister.
She told People Magazine: "Although the King is carrying out his duties with typical determination, he has had to accept limitations during his cancer treatment. As a result, William has been taking on more responsibilities, and he and Kate have been preparing for their future roles sooner than they would have expected."
Shortly after Charles opened up about his cancer diagnosis, the Princess of Wales revealed that she'd also been diagnosed with cancer, expressing the ordeal came as a "huge shock" for both her and Prince William. Kate candidly shared how they kept the diagnosis under wraps to protect their children until they were ready to "understand and process" such heavy news.
