Prince William reduced King Charles to tears with off-the-cuff comment about the future
The Royal Family has undergone a series of dramatic changes in the past year which have particularly impacted King Charles and Prince William.
It was previously run for over 50 years by Charles who took great interest in its success when he was Prince of Wales, the Mirror reports. Speaking of the future of the estate William said: "I’ve started to think about how I will inherit the Duchy one day and what I do with it.Viewers were then shown a clip of Charles who was reflecting on the conversation between the farmer and his son."I was deeply touched and moved by what he said. Frankly, it reduced me to tears. It did, really.
The snap which was posted on the official Royal Family Twitter account shows William and Charles both smiling during Coronation rehearsals. The future King's first birthday as the Prince of Wales comes just days after he committed to building social housing on the Duchy of Cornwall's land.
