Jack Wilshere has revealed a baptism of fire before even making his first team debut at Arsenal AFC
Jack Wilshere recalled the awe inspiring presence Thierry Henry had at Arsenal that brought out the best in everyone.when he made his debut in 2008, aged 16.And the influence of Arsenal’s ‘GOAT’ likely helped him on the way, and has revealed a baptism of fire before even making his first team debut., featured in some training sessions with Wilshere when the Englishman was just 14.
“I remember going over there once, it was him, [Freddie] Ljungberg and Ray Parlour, Ray Parlour wasn’t there but he was back training for some reason but I was 14. Parlour, who was playing for Hull City at the time but occasionally trained with Arsenal, remembers Wilshere’s breakthrough well.
