Wimbledon stars told to stop maxing out food allowance as one coach takes 27 yoghurts Wimbledon
Wimbledon stars have been warned to stop taking advantage of their daily food allowance, or supplies might start running out.
Players do not need to worry about taking food into the All England Club as they have six different places they can eat – two restaurants, two sandwich bars and two coffee shops.Tennis players, with the likes ofand Novak Djokovic still in the draw, are given a £90 daily allowance to spend. Coaches have around half that amount.
But the All England Club have sent an email around to everyone asking them to be sensible with their food, as reported by The Guardian. One coach was said to have been seen walking away with 27 probiotic yoghurts, in an effort to max out his daily allowance.food allowance as more of a target to hit.
