The window washer's descender became stuck Monday afternoon on Alabama's highest building.
A window washer was dangling from a rope near the top of Alabama’s tallest building Monday afternoon when his descender became stuck on the RSA Tower in Mobile, officials said.
Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units, including technical rescue units, were called to the tower in downtown Mobile around 12:51 p.m. Monday to perform a rescue of the window washer, the department said.Firefighters found the worker suspended on a rope near the 35th floor of the 35-story tower, on the west side of the building.At 745 feet, the tower is the tallest building in Alabama, according to the RSA.
