Portraits celebrate contribution made by members of the Windrush generation who settled in Leeds.

The project features 75 "larger than life portraits" of people who settled in the city between 1948-1971.The works are part of events to mark the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the HMT Empire Windrush to British shores in 1948. "We honour an intrepid generation of people of which I am one, who responded to Britain's call to rebuild this country after World War Two.
