To celebrate over one million journeys being made using contactless payments across Translink Metro services in Belfast, we asked you to share your ‘#1inaMillion Metro Moment’ stories, and you did not disappoint!
Young Elliott was on a bus for the first time in July which his mum Louise Lynn said has become a bit of an obsession. “Our journey began by catching the 5a Metro into Donegall Square West where two of the party also used their Translink 60+ Smartpasses, so it was more affordable than having to get 2 taxis. Then we just had to walk across road to get to Ten Square for dinner. We had planned on getting the last bus home, but my friend rang me to say she had got engaged so kept the celebrations going. Winning the voucher was a lovely surprise and will go towards a family fun night out.
