The Guardians entered the fourth leading 4-1. Then Sean Bouchard started the scoring with a ground ball to Andres Gimenez that looked like it should have been a double play. Instead, the ball ate up Gimenez and Elias Diaz came home to score. Second base umpire Jeremie Rehak may have assisted the miscue by obscuring the view of Gimenez, Rehak moved fast to get out of the way, but that’s the way the ball bounces some times.
A few minutes later Elehuris Montero continued the scoring party with an RBI single to score Brenton Doyle which tied the game at 4-4. Then Charlie Blackmon stepped to the plate. Blackmon, who had a three hit day, had the biggest hit of the day when he blasted a three-run homer over the right field wall and a 7-4 Colorado lead, a lead they never gave back.Schwab says: Ya can't win 'em all
