The winter series of Love Island in South Africa is set to provide more than just escapism in a gloomy January – a travel boom is predicted as Brits target the luxury locale as a holiday destination 🔴 adamsherwin10
for a winter edition designed to spark travel envy back home.
A favourable exchange rate, with a weakening Rand reflecting South Africa’s fragile economic recovery from the pandemic, is another incentive for Brits to jump on seasonal cheap flight deals to the Cape, tourism chiefs said. Travel companies will be prominent advertisers during the breaks in TV’s most-watched show for 16-35 year-olds.
There are also outdoor showers, a swimming pool with purple loungers, a traditional fire-pit, and an outdoor kitchen. Should they need any further inducement, a neon sign above a bed reads: “Get Sexy”.
