Service team ‘so grateful’ for donated bumper package of top-quality bedding from John Lewis Partnership’s Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow

A housing support service for young people in the region has been given a snuggle-inducing boost for the winter nights.

The health and social care charity received the bumper package of top-quality bedding from John Lewis Partnership’s Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow. “When a young person takes up a tenancy, they are delighted to have somewhere to call home. However, they have next to nothing. Everyone wants to feel cocooned and safe in their bed and these pillows and items of bedding add a new level of luxury and provide great comfort.

She added: “Our role is to support young people who are care leavers, homeless or at risk of being homeless, with whatever their needs are. Whether that is supporting them to learn to cook, or show them how to use a washing machine, how to budget and pay bills and how to do their weekly shop, we are there to encourage and to promote independence.”
