Some of the snow is likely to turn to slush and then ice as temperatures plunge - potentially causing travel chaos.This comes days after the warmest New Year's Day on record with temperatures reaching 15.3C in Lincs.The firm go 2-1 for this winter to be the chilliest ever in the UK.
