St Thomas’ Primary School were the worthy winners of the competition with the team of four now representing the area at the finals in June, where they will compete against schools from all over Scotland.

Local heats take place from February to April, with winning teams moving on to the National Euroquiz Final in June.The joint runners-up were the teams from St Brendan’s Primary School and Netherton Primary School, who both put in impressive performances. “Congratulations to all those who took part for their hard work and dedication, and best of luck to St Thomas’ Primary School in the National Euroquiz Final!”

St Brendan’s Primary was awarded their prizes and certificates by their class teacher, Mrs Smedley, alongside Catriona Henderson, Education Support Officer from North Lanarkshire Council.
