West Yorkshire Police said one man has been arrested following the incident in Belle Isle
A witness has described a Leeds crime scene as "an absolute blood bath" after a vicious attack in Belle Isle which saw two men rushed to hospital.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed they were called to the scene following reports that a man had suffered facial injuries. Two men were rushed to hospital with what are described as 'blunt force injuries'.A police cordon remained outside the shop on Saturday morning with residents describing how there was "blood everywhere". West Yorkshire Police said one person has been arrested and their enquiries are continuing.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 1.12am today , police received a report of a male with facial injuries in Belle Isle Road, Leeds. Officers attended and found two males with what were believed to be blunt force injuries. "One man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are continuing. Anyone with any information that may assist is asked to contact Leeds District CID on 101, or by using the livechat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website.
