Spare a thought for little Lofty this morning 🥺❤️

But it’s not just your tattoo appointment or big work change that’s been put on pause – our feline pals are being affected too.

Little Lofty is a four-month-old kitten who had just been given the green light to start looking for his forever home when the nation went into lockdown, leading to Battersea suspending the rehoming process.Lofty has cerebellar hypoplasia, which makes his head wobble The rescue kitty was born with cerebellar hypoplasia, an incurable neurological condition that causes his head to involuntarily wobble. But the kitten won’t let his condition hold him back. For now he’s staying with one of Battersea’s foster carers, Roxy Mok, and is making the most of lockdown life.

Roxy says: ‘We’re playing together a lot at the moment to make sure he’s getting the stimulation he needs.‘He’s also fond of a nap or two and is honestly just the sweetest little cat. ‘I know he’ll make a wonderful pet when the time comes and in the meantime, he seems quite content keeping me company.’Once the lockdown ends, Lofty will restart his search for a permanent home.
