The Wolfe Tones have responded after Leinster Rugby apologised for playing the group's 'Celtic Symphony' song at the RDS on Sunday.
Celtic Symphony was the second song played over the RDS PA system following the end of the Leinster-Connacht match and had started to fade out as the contentious segment kicked in.Leinster said in a statement afterwards: "A song was played over the PA at the RDS Arena this evening that shouldn’t have been played.
The Wolfe Tones responded on social media, questioning why there needed to be an apology, reports the Irish Mirror.
