Michael Olise scores his 10th Premier League goal of the season as Crystal Palace beat Wolves 3-1 at Molineux.
Oliver Glasner's side made it 2-0 when Jean-Philippe Mateta scored his 13th league goal of the campaign after tapping in from Nathaniel Clyne’s strike off the post following a cheeky chipped through ball by Olise.
Minutes later Wolves were almost level, but Clyne’s tremendous last-ditch defending kept his side in the lead. Olise was gifted with an opportunity to open the scoring early in the first half but he dragged a powerful left-footed hit wide of the far post. O’Neil’s side have now won once in their last nine league matches and have just one clean sheet to their name in their past 11 games.
Crystal Palace have won 55% of their Premier League games against Wolves . Of sides they’ve faced at least 10 times in the competition, only against Stoke do they have a higher win rate. Wolves have conceded 60 Premier League goals this season, their most in a single top-flight campaign since 2011-12, when they finished bottom . Since the start of February, they’ve conceded 29 times in 15 games, with only Sheffield United , Luton and West Ham shipping more in that time.
