Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has claimed Wolves may have held talks with super-agent Jorge Mendes about potential January transfer deals., the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – insisted Mendes has a vested interest in the Molineux club remaining in the Premier League due to their long-standing partnership.
Pereira is represented by Mendes’ agency Gestifute – which has supplied a number of players and managers to the Molineux club in recent years.The Midlands club sit 19th in the Premier League table and are five points from safety after 16 games of the 2024-25 campaign.“He will also be wanting to make sure Wolves stay in the Premier League, as a shop window for a lot of his players.
