Man Utd are due to play Wolves on Boxing Day and the Midlands club have sacked their manager Gary O'Neil - with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now tipped to take over.
Wolves have confirmed their decision to sack manager Gary O'Neil with the club languishing 19th in the Premier League table - and due to play Manchester United on Boxing Day.
With their record two wins in 16 matches and now four points from safety, the club's owner Jeff Shi has taken the decision to part ways with their manager. This has been made 11 days before United are scheduled to travel to the Black Country on Boxing Day - and a familiar name has been tipped to take over.
Ex-United striker and briefly interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy was then given the Leicester job. Interestingly, another former member of the club's forward line is immediately being linked with this new vacancy.
