A 23-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Robert Fisher who died days later in hospital, after being found seriously injured in the Maxwellton Street area of Paisley.
Robert Fisher, 26, was found seriously injured in the Maxwellton Street area of the town on Sunday, July 23, 2023. He later died at Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on Thursday, July 27.
Prior to his death, on July 25, two men, aged 26 and 24, appeared at Paisley Sherriff Court charged with attempted murder - both made no plea or declaration to an attempted murder charge.READ MORE: Glasgow's sex workers battle for survival and 'don't feel protected by police' Today, March 10, Police Scotland have confirmed that a 23-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with his death.
Robert was found seriously injured by emergency services following a disturbance in a property on Maxwellton Street. The woman is due to appear before Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, March 11, 2024, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
