Woman attacked paramedic with knife after flagging down ambulance
A “HYSTERICAL” woman attacked a paramedic with a knife and pulled another’s hair out of their head after flagging down an ambulance.
The 24-year-old was sentenced on Tuesday at Teesside Magistrates Court for four charges of assaulting an emergency worker. The emergency workers tried to help and sit her down but she continued to shout at them telling them to get off her - before she walked into the road trying to flag down other vehicles.
When the second paramedic tried to intervene, Punshon took out a small blade that was attached to her key ring and attacked the man’s face.Punshon then fled the scene and police were called where they later tracked her down and arrested her.
