Authorities in Barnstable, Massachusetts, initially gave limited information, asking the public to avoid Race Lane between Route 149 and Osterville West Barnstable Road due to an active police investigation. The teenagers told police they were playing a round when the woman yelled at them from the wood line to stay out of her yard.
