Ten people have now been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting
A further arrest has been made in connection with the arrest of Rikki Berry. The 36-year-old dad was shot dead on Quarryside Drive in Kirkby on Wednesday, July 17. Police have already charged one man with murder. Adam Williams, of Hamblett Crescent in St Helens , was charged with the murder of the dad, who was also known as 'Nuggy', on Friday, July 26. The 25-year-old appeared before Liverpool Crown Court this afternoon, Monday July 29.
She was taken to a police station for questioning. Appearing via video link to HMP Altcourse today , Williams spoke only to confirm his name during a brief hearing and has not yet been asked to enter any plea, although a two to three week trial was today scheduled for January 20 2025. Williams, who wore a grey prison issue tracksuit and sported short brown hair, was remanded into custody ahead of a further appearance before before the court on November 1.
